Each Sunday we offer ministry to children from infants all the way through 6th grade. Jesus holds children very close to His heart, and we here at Calvary Chapel Star do so as well. One of our highest callings is to partner with parents to teach God’s Word, so that all children can come to the saving knowledge of Christ and deepen their personal relationship with Him. We look to help children to grow to their full potential in Christ through knowing God and understanding His Word and provide opportunities to discover and develop their gifts to serve Jesus. Our volunteers are a vital part of Children’s Ministry, we would love for you to join the team.

The Jr. High and High School Ministries provides an environment where a commitment to Christ is encouraged. We desire to see students grow in the knowledge of their Savior and the Word of God, so that they may be able to live in such a way that they glorify God in all that they do. Volunteering in these ministries provides the opportunity to impact the youth for God’s kingdom.

Calvary Chapel Star Young Adults is a ministry designed with all who are out of high school to 25 years old in mind. We are committed to studying the Bible, growing to know Jesus deeper and seeking to impact our homes and our community for His glory. Ministry to young adults offers individuals in our congregation the opportunity to invest in the lives of those who will make an impact for the future.  What an exciting opportunity!

There is no doubt that the call on the second half of someone’s life is as real and powerful as the first half. The Prayer Ministry provides an opportunity for the church to be more intentional about prayer as a community of believers. Prayer groups meet at various times during the week and month. Please plan to join us as we lift up the church, the needs of the body, the community, and the country.

The greeters of Calvary Chapel Star welcome people to ensure that everyone who enters our doors are greeted with a friendly smile, see and feel the love of Jesus Christ. Greeters have a wonderful opportunity and an awesome responsibility to touch every heart as one of the first contacts when people arrive to church. This vital ministry is a great place to shine for Jesus!

The Calvary Chapel Star Usher Ministry helps to set the tone for anyone coming into the worship services. They assist in welcoming and seating of the congregation. Like greeters, they provide the first impression for anyone walking through the doors. We are so grateful for anyone who can volunteer in this ministry.

Women’s Ministry is dedicated to glorifying God by touching the hearts of women, encouraging them to open and study their Bibles, applying God’s truth to their daily lives and to commit to praying without ceasing. Our prayer is that you deepen your relationship with the Lord and have opportunities for fellowship and serving.  We value community and fellowship and encourage connection through various events.

Our goal is to help men grow into strong leaders at home, at work, and in the body of Christ. We believe that strong male leadership is vital for the success of the family, the church, and the community. It is our desire and passion to inspire and equip men to pursue a life in Christ. We offer variety of activities and Bible studies that work together to accomplish this goal.

The Parking Ministry of Calvary Chapel Star is to direct individuals as they enter and exit the parking facilities.  Parking volunteers are the first point of contact for our guests as they greet and direct the people.

These ministries exist to minister to the practical needs of the body of Christ and make a positive contribution to the community in a way that demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ. Examples of this ministry include meal trains and hospital visitations.

Real Impact monitors the cultural landscape through the lens of Scripture. Social issues, legislation, and public policy are all part of this landscape. Our goal is to educate, equip, and encourage Christians to have a godly influence on our society and culture.  Join the mission to preserve and promote a biblical worldview in all spheres of society.

Pro-Life Ministry is uniting and mobilizing the church to create a culture of love and life that will result in an end to abortion and the orphan crisis. God is using Pro-Life to awaken the church. This isn’t pro-life activism; it is Christianity 101. It is loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. Whole families are being moved from inside the four walls of the church into the frontlines of the mission field in their cities through the activities of Pro-Life Ministry. Prayerfully consider getting involved!

With being a mobile church that sets up and tears down on a weekly basis. This is a crucial yet sweet part of the function of this church as you set up the chairs that your brothers and sisters will use Sunday morning.

Our Setup and Tear Down Ministry is the backbone of our church's logistical support. Committed volunteers work tirelessly to transform any space into a warm and welcoming worship environment before each service and return it to its original state afterward. Their dedication ensures a seamless and comfortable experience for our congregation, allowing us all to focus on the message of love and faith.

The Worship Ministry at our church is the heart of our spiritual gatherings. Dedicated to ushering in the presence of God through music and worship, our talented musicians and vocalists lead our congregation in praise. Our Worship Ministry volunteers serve on Sunday's mornings and for special events, use using their vocal or musical gifts to serve and lead the body in worship to the Lord.

Our Media Ministry volunteers serve Sunday mornings, and for special events throughout the week to provide audio, lyrics, broadcast video, and lighting for Church services. This ministry provides an opportunity for teens and adults to use their technical gifts to serve the body of Christ. Previous experience is preferred but not required for all positions. Training is provided, but an aptitude/ability for learning new technology is beneficial.
 

There are many parts to the body of Christ, and one does not supersede the other (I Corinthians 12:12). If you have a gifting or calling in the medical/Security world and would like to serve the body of Christ, this would be a great opportunity to use your gifts!

Adventures in Motherhood is a vibrant community within our church, dedicated to supporting and uplifting young moms on their incredible journey of motherhood. Gathering at local parks, we create a nurturing space where mothers can connect, share experiences, and offer encouragement to one another. Join us for heartwarming conversations, playdates, and a chance to embrace the beautiful adventure of motherhood together.
