building for the kingdom

As the Lord has given us the opportunity to steward 17 acres in Star, Idaho we believe that He is calling us to develop a campus that would glorify Him, gather His people, and be a testimony to the community. Should the Lord will it, we will see a sanctuary, children's building, youth center, fellowship hall, prayer walk, grass field/amphitheater, bookstore/coffee house, community outreach building, and workshop come to life and be established for the purpose of exalting God's Word, equipping God's people, and evangelizing the Treasure Valley and beyond.

As a beacon of hope and the pillar and ground for truth (1 Tim. 3:15), the campus of CCS will unapologetically shine the light of God's Word to His people and to the ends of the earth, no matter what circumstances may come, until the Lord returns. Much like the tabernacle was made of raw materials, but once assembled, the glory of the Lord fell upon that holy place, and God's people could gather in worship and to grow together in the grace and knowledge of God; we believe that the Lord desires to build a place that will gather His people in worship and the study of God's Word. Think of the message that is going to be sent to the world when the walls start going up! As we live in a time where people believe God is dead and Christianity is over, what a shining light and beacon of undeniable truth it will be that God is on the move!

God's place and people are to be rooted in prayer. Please diligently pray over these topics.

1. Continued wisdom and confirmation in the design and function of the architectural plans.
2. For favor with the city, contractors, and trades.
3. That anyone working on the campus would sense the presence of God and build with precision and intentionality.
4. Pray that the Lord would provide the materials, finances, and fixtures that will be needed.
5. Pray about giving towards this Kingdom project. Once the Lord provides $2.3 million, construction will be able to begin. As we partner together and steward what the Lord has entrusted to our care we will see God move in and through countless lives, throughout many generations, for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
